How long has the U.S. been talking about levelling tough economic sanctions against Iran? Sadly it's been discussed for the last two years and finally Iran's latest missile test might have pushed America and the International community over the edge.

The White House today called Iran's latest missile tests "provocative," and said the onus is now on the Iranians to respond to the newly-revealed existence of a secret underground facility that could be used to produce nuclear weapons. Iran is under massive scrutiny and intense international pressure to fully disclose its nuclear activities on the heels of those revelations. The country has been warned yet another time that it must open the site to international inspection or face harsher international sanctions.

Iran said it successfully test-fired the longest-range missiles in its arsenal on Monday, weapons capable of carrying a warhead and striking Israel, U.S. military bases in the Middle East, and parts of Europe.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said there has never been a stronger international consensus to get tough on Iran's nuclear program. Thursday that will be tested in Geneva when Iran and other nations including the U.S. meet about that country's nuclear program. Iran will have to ensure that it will only pursue peaceful nuclear enegry uses something they've been claiming all along.

Thursday on America Tonight Jordan Sekulow the Director of International Operations for the America Center for Law and Justice will join us. Sekulow has been an early and very vocal leader in the call for sanctions against Iran.
