In 2010, Honeywell took a $25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy as part of President Barack Obama’s stimulus bill.  As part of the Obama Administration’s larger green-energy agenda, the $25 million taxpayer gift was specifically allocated for a biofuels demonstration plant to be built in Oahu, Hawaii.  The DOE and Honeywell claimed that the project would create 85 construction jobs and 40 permanent jobs per year; however, an April 2012 report by the Honolulu Civil Beat found that only about 10 permanent jobs were created.

“Honeywell took $25 million from hard-working Americans and created 10 jobs – a cost of $2.5 million per job.  This type of corporate cronyism needs to stop,” said National Center Free Enterprise Project Director Justin Danhof, Esq. a guest on America Tonight says  “If the Obama Administration will not hold companies accountable once they dole out our money, it is up to citizens and shareholders to put a cost of doing business onto companies that squander these massive taxpayer gifts.  Maybe next time Honeywell executives will think twice before they rob the public blind.” Send the CEO of Honeywell David Cote a letter - Honeywell International 101 Columbia Road, Morristown, NJ 07962.

Three people are dead, more than 144 people injured and sadly that includes up to 10 people with amputated limbs. There are also 17 people in critical condition fighting for their lives. Who does this and why? Kill an 8 year old boy just waiting to cheer his father on at the finish line, now he'll never see him again. What a cowardly act by a vile person or people. Tonight on the show, Robert Sciliano, a security expert, friend of the show and an avid runner talks about what happened when he turned the corner to finish the race.

Evacuated students at the University of Central Florida on Monday waiting to return to their dorm rooms. These evacuated students from the University of Central Florida are just learning how close they came to being a statistic. At 12:20am this morning a fire alarm went off sending 500 students in Tower One on the Orlando campus scrambling. No fire and no explanations. Campus police called in the Orange County Bomb Squad after finding a a male student dead of an apparent self-inflicted gun shot. They found a handgun and a shotgun plus a bag of bombs. Lots of questions - more tonight on America Tonight.
