Goldman Sachs AigHow much do you hate Wall Street? The New York Times story on Saturday about the the Behind-the-scenes fights over huge bucks between A.I.G. and Goldman Sachs isn't suprizing just sickening. Ripped from the pages this morning.."Well before the federal government bailed out A.I.G. in September 2008, Goldman’s demands for billions of dollars from the insurer helped put it in a precarious financial position by bleeding much-needed cash. That ultimately provoked the government to step in."

The S.E.C. is following the money and  wants to know whether any of the demands improperly distressed the mortgage market. Gee do you think? It's being reported that the year before the A.I.G. bailout Goldman collected more than $7 billion from the Insurance giant and got billions after the rescue. Matt Taibbi wrote about this in the Rolling Stone Magazine wasn't anybody paying attention.
